Fundamentals of Digital Photography - March 1
This full-day course will help you get better photos from your camera. We will go beyond the “automatic” settings to let you take control of your camera to create the photos you’ve always wanted. This course provides practical advice, in easy to understand language, so you can become a more confident photographer. It is intended for novice to intermediate photographers with a camera that has interchangeable lenses, adjustable shutter speeds and f-stops. Lightroom is a powerful photo editing tool with a number of features that make it useful for both professional and hobbyist photographers. Whether a photographer is taking photos of nature for sale or publication or just taking vacation photos, the ability to edit photos quickly and efficiently will greatly improve the quality of their output. This full-day course explains how to improve your photos on your computer. Explanations and demonstrations will be made using Photoshop. These lessons are applicable to Photoshop Elements as well. The non-technical presentations will help you learn fundamental skills of photo editing. Learn how to improve any photo, fix a problem photo, and turn a good photo into a prize winner. Techniques described are intended to be simple, quick and easy. Some experience with digital photo imaging would be helpful. Laptops are welcome.
